Conterpoint 2016 will be held at
the Radisson
Hotel North Baltimore hotel, located at 2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093.
The room rate is $112/night + 14% tax, single or double bed
(1-4 persons). The hotel has free surface parking for guests
and attendees, and is easily accessible off I-83 North and
from the light rail. Observant fans will note this is the
hotel that hosted the Darkover®
Grand Council Meeting for over two decades and currently hosts
its successor/regeneration, Chessiecon.

The hotel has an on-site restaurant,
Northern Lights, which is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday
through Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and
Sunday.
Plentiful off-site food options are available. Around the corner (~0.5 mile) from the hotel are two shopping centers which include Baja Fresh, Yamato Sushi and Pasta Blitz, as well as a Shop-Rite supermarket and Rite-Aid pharmacy. York Road, a major north-south artery just past the shopping centers, has numerous restaurants in both directions. A full restaurant guide will be provided.

Local Transit:
The Timonium Business Park stop for the MTA
Maryland Light Rail is about a 0.3 mile walk
from the Radisson. Both the Hunt Valley/BWI line and
Timonium/Cromwell lines serve the Timonium Business
Park stop. From the platforms, turn right on Business
Park drive, right on Greenspring
Drive, then right on Timway
Drive.
From Local Airports:
The closest airport
is BWI/Marshall
Airport. From BWI, you can catch the MTA Maryland Light
Rail across from Concourse E (see above for details) or
arrange a shared van through SuperShuttle for transportation between the hotel and
the airport (a 24-hour advance reservation is recommended).
From Amtrak:
The closest Amtrak
Station is Baltimore Penn Station. From Amtrak you can catch the MTA Maryland Light
Rail. Take the Camden Yards line one stop to the
University of Baltimore/Mt. Royal stop and switch to a train
in either the Timonium Fairgrounds or Hunt Valley direction.
Alternatively,
take Amtrak to BWI station and take the shuttle to MTA Light
Rail (again, Timonium Fairgrounds or
Hunt Valley line); this will avoid the need to change
light rail trains.
